Ah, narrow congested streets. That is Malaysia. It’s the same in Kuala Lumpur. Sadly, a lot of shophouses like the one in your photos are now permanently closed. At least they are all still standing and give us something to appreciate about our past 🙂
Thanks Mabel for your comments. Totally agreed. In Kuching these old shophouses in Main Bazaar are now converted to lodging houses, souvenir shops or local tours agents, all tourist related. Good thing is they are still there.
