Explore your Suburb Challenge

We blog for a million different reasons, but in the end we’re all storytellers.
– quote DP challenge, WordPress.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand with numerous suburbs (residential district situated on the outskirts of a city or town).

For a full listing check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suburbs_of_Auckland

I have be meaning to go on an adventure to each and every suburb exploring the inner city with stories and photographs but this project has yet to eventualize.  Often times, visitors and tourists only see a city from visits to tourists spots and missed out on the gem of that city.

The objective of this challenge is for all to share and introduce your suburb to the world giving the opportunity for any tourists to see the country and have a feel of ‘living like a local’ be it eating in the favourite fish and chips shop or enjoying the best local pies or a swim in the little beach where only locals know about.

This page is specially created for bloggers to participate in ‘Explore your Suburb Challenge’.

To participate, tag your post with SuburbChallenge and include a link to this post to generate a pingback — and make sure your post has been specifically published in response to this challenge.

The blog must mention the suburb, city and country either on the title or anywhere in the story.  By submitting to this challenge, you agreed that your post could be reblogged and shared.

Let’s get out and about and kick off 2014 showing off your suburb to the world.

Happy blogging.
