Stranger, Acquaintance or Friend

A stranger is an alien, someone unknown to you.

A stranger is a kind of intruder, trespasser, foreigner and outsider.

A stranger is a friend you have not yet meet.

It takes a long time for strangers to be acquainted

particularly when they are from the same family.

Acquaintance is a kind of information,

personal knowledge about someone or something.

Acquaintance is about familiarity, conversance or conversancy.

Acquaintance is a person on the street with whom you are acquainted.

Acquaintance is a relationship less intimate than friendship.

If you can’t tell someone how you feel, be it feelings of hurt, anger or love,

they will be nothing more than mere acquaintances.

To the one out there,

are you a stranger,

an acquaintance

or a friend?

Hello Stranger

A Random Shot

Hello Stranger
We must have crossed path
In the streets or in our dreams
I sensed we had connected somehow.

Hello Stranger
I cannot visualize your face
Or your tone of your voice
Were you a part of my past or my dreams?

Hello Stranger
I cannot recall your smell
And if we ever held hands
Why did you let it go?

Goodbye Stranger
Maybe you are not meant to stay
Could we be happy together?
The answer we will never know.

Daily Prompt: Imagine All the People by John Lennon

The next time you’re in a public place — a coffeehouse, a park, a store — observe the people around you. Pick a person, a couple, or a group, and imagine what their lives might be like.Photographers, artists, poets: show us IMAGINE.

via Daily Prompt: Imagine All the People.

This will be my next project.

Quite an unexpected prompt.

The next time….(next time indeed) that i am in a public place

I will indeed IMAGE the life of a person, a couple or a group.

Right now, I aren’t in a group.

I am in the comfort of my bedroom with my Toby (dog) for company.

In the meantime, let’s listen to John Lenon and his song, ‘Imagine’.
