I am a first-time nana. To build my connection with my little one-year-old granddaughter and her mum (my daughter) and dad, I visit them once a week and took the opportunity to cook some dishes and have dinner at their place. Just a normal thing to do. Food, food and more food is usually a form of networking and connection be it in business or amongst family and friends.
My daughter cooked too so we had a feast yesterday. My dishes tasted great but I had to cook them in a rush to be in time for work hence the fish was a bit too charred.
Clockwise: Fried fish with laksa paste, goat curry, fried salmon pieces, brussel sprouts with mushroom and hokkien mee with prawns (dish in the middle).
That was another ‘nana night’ as I called it.
Love you heaps, baby Kirsty.
