We are into autumn now, though still reasonably warm so far.
Definitely there aren’t many bare feet walking or running on beaches, at local dairies or supermarkets.
Neither are there many people on jandals.
The kiwis called the open-toed footware jandal. The name jandal combined the word Japanese and Sandal. Please click here to read the jandal history.
Others called them sandals, flip-flops or thongs.
Here’s a lovely jandal poster as we say ‘Goodbye, Summer’.
