Christmas in Hobart – Day Four

We started the day Cherries picking at Sorell Fruit Farm.  I’ve never eaten so many cherries in my whole life !

Next we took a breathtaking drive through Eaglehawk Neck (a narrow isthmus connecting the Tasman Peninsula to mainland Tasmania) visiting ‘The Devils Kitchen’ and ‘Tasman Arch’ on the way to Port Arthur, a former convict settlement.

The Devil’s Kitchen is an unusual rock formation carved by the sea through the sheer rock face of the eastern coast of the Peninsula.

Visited the lavender farm along the way.

Another full and lovely day. Two more sleeps before we fly home.

Day Five to be continued …………
