Home Sweet Home – From chill to chili

I landed back home to Auckland today.  Not a very warm welcome especially when I left in early spring expecting to return to a warmer season.  Looks like we have the spring blast affecting the country with hail, rain, gales and snow on the ranges for the last few days but nevertheless, it’s still home sweet home to me.

Missing the warmth of Malaysia and Singapore.

On a chilly day, an interesting way to keep warm is to spice up a bowl of nasi goreng or fried noodles with a dipping of chili padi in soy or fish source if you can handle the heat.
