Travel Photography – Tip Six : Don’t be afraid to get lost

Take the road less travelled and you will be surprised what you find.

– Quote Photographing our Travels : Tips from Infinite Satori –

The Hang Sung Sot cave, or Surprise Cave is located in Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. This cave was discovered in 1901 by French explorers. The entrance of the cave is high above sea level so we sweated it out in the hot summer walking up the steps to get into the caves.

Inside the cave you will find three different chambers that are connected by a walking path which has been illuminated to make it easy accessible for tourists.

When you exit the Surprise Cave you get to see a breathtaking view of the bay filled with cruise boats.  Surprise Grotto is on Bo Hon Island, and is one of the finest and widest grottoes of Ha Long Bay.
