Spring or Autumn

For the Western hemisphere, May day was the first day of spring;  when winter has finally loosened its clutches on the world (well, the northern part of it at least!) and the landscape begins to come alive again with green, growing things.  No matter where you are in the world, it’s a time of change. For this week’s challenge, share a photo that shows what spring means to you.

– quote The Daily Post Photo Challenge : Spring

Spring to us here was September, October and November.  I am still very much out and about on our last month in autumn before winter arrives.  I am already feeling the chill. Let’s see what I can share from my photo album be it Spring or Autumn.

Walking up Pigeon Mountain. This autumn day is perhaps just a little wet and cooler than spring but we still see the same views. Notice who is on walking ahead of me.

Pigeon Mountain is an easy walk up the slope and on the summit a lonely structure of some kind.

Hibiscus from my garden. They flower from December to July so clearly not a spring flower.

Camellia in my garden - like Hibiscus they are more autumn rather than spring flowers.

I have decided to share the latest shots I took on my dog walk yesterday. Be it spring or autumn here we do get some flowers and a little chill.
