Daily Prompt: Michelangelo’s YOU – Mother & Child

Your personal sculptor is carving a person, thing, or event from the last month of your life into the glistening marble of immortality. What’s the statue and what makes it so significant? Photographers, artists, poets: show us SIGNIFICANT.

This is a picture of my son and my daughter.

Beautiful Children come and go

Beautiful Children

Last couple of months my son decided he is a young adult and wanted his independence hence he moved out and went flatting.

Ironically, last month, my daughter decided she no longer want to be in a relationship and wanted freedom hence she moved back home.

The statue has been carved.

In the eyes of our children, we are their provider, we are their shelter, they moved out when they fancy.  Then they moved home without needing an invitation.

Their mother, a magnificent sculpture, full of significance.
