Write a post about anything you’d like, but be sure to include this sentence somewhere in the final paragraph:“He tried to hit me with a forklift!” Photographers, artists, poets: show us a NON SEQUITUR.
Non Sequitur indeed. First time I heard of this word with my limited vocabulary lately after trying to read books and never ever finishing one completely in the last year. I use the word “random” a lot being a “random” person. Life to me is not walking on a straight line. Life is interesting living it randomly and freely.
I live randomly does not mean I live wildly. It just means I do only short term plans rather than long term. If I feel like going for a break, a breather away from work, I get online and grabbed a seat and there I go, a weekend away. Long term plans to me are what I hope to achieve and I do not chart that plan but I visualize it and live as though I already have it. I used to live by the sea and I loved it and currently I do not have the means to own a beachfront property but I go to the beach as much as I want to, walk my dog, stop for drinks at the local eatery and I live like a local so I am there !
As I am writing this, something non sequitur visualized in my head. Years ago when the kids were young, my second daughter and my young son seemed to have the love hate relationship and there was this new forklift that my son got for his birthday and it ended up in my daughter’s hands. In this visualization, it wasn’t so much of
He tried to hit me with a forklift.
She tried to hit me with a forklift !
