Daily Prompt: On the Edge

Daily Prompt: On the Edge.

We all have things as need to do to keep an even keel — blogging, exercising, reading, cooking. What’s yours?

Photographers, artists, poets: show us ACTIVITY.

KEEL – surely we are not talking about the internet slang KEEL meaning KILL.

Neither are we talking about the KEEL of a boat, meaning the long, specially shaped piece of wood or steel along the bottom of it.

Of course we are talking about KEEL as in ACTIVITY, on an even keel meaning one is working or progressing smoothly and steadily, without any sudden changes.

So here’s ‘My activities Chart’

blogging        –   daily, even now and it’s past midnight
exercising      –  not today, maybe tomorrow
reading         –  still on the same book for the last three months
cooking         –  love it, even though it’s cooking for one !

With all these, especially where BLOGGING is concerned, I am driven ON THE EDGE, staying up till the wee hours waiting for DAILY PROMPT to pop up at the stroke of midnight compromising my lack of sleep !  Definitely I am NOT KEEPING AN EVEN KEEL.
