I am touched.
This letter handwritten by a junior student was found in my letter box.
I am the recipient of “Pay it forward.”
As the letter says, “Pay it forward is doing something for someone and not expecting anything in return”.
Need a closer look ?
I did a little research and found that indeed Pay it forward is a term describing the beneficiary of a good deed repaying it to others instead of to the original benefactor. The concept is old, but the phrase may have been coined by Lily Hardy Hammond in her 1916 book In the Garden of Delight. (Souce http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pay_it_forward).
There is also a Pay it forward Day.
To the young writer who sent me the note, “Thank You very much”.
Spreading and sharing God’s love and happiness with everyone.
Pay it forward everyone and have a Great Day !
This is my number 4 post of Week 1 towards my personal Post A Week Challenge. 🙂
